The Hunter / Gatherer will generate new business through phone and email prospecting, qualify and convert leads into opportunities, and transition prospects at various stages of their purchasing process. Together, we will grow a book of business in digital marketing services.

We're looking for someone that is self-motivated, digitally savvy, confident, experienced in a consultative sales process and embodies a real passion for business-to-business (B2B) sales.You will work collaboratively with our CEO to follow up on leads generated by strategic marketing efforts, and will handle all prospecting aspects of the sales process as well as transitioning new accounts to the client services team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads.
  • Actively identify new sales opportunities, build a business pipeline meeting agreed-upon quota, and ensure consistent pipeline creation.
  • Work internally with other members of the team to ensure quality and quantity of presentations.
  • Implement agreed action plan/s and forecast/s to ensure attainment of business objectives.
  • Engage with all sales lead enquiries from marketing activities.
  • Conduct qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned.
  • Schedule online marketing assessments for the agency.
  • Chip in individually to the team targets, achieving a high level of customer happiness and value.
  • Demonstrate a professional, customer-centric approach during all customer interactions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • You are coachable, and are adept at taking in -- and applying -- feedback.
  • You understand and articulate the value proposition of digital marketing elements: websites, inbound marketing/inbound sales, and digital strategy through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • We'll collaborate as a team built upon a culture of friendliness, organization, honesty, strong work ethics, and real passion for the customer.
  • Awareness of common web based applications and willing to supplement knowledge gaps with formal training.
  • Understand, commit to, and support MassMonopoly's objectives, goals and strategies.
